Dr. Abhishek Poddar obtained his Ph.D. and MBA from the Vinod Gupta School of Management, Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, and his B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology, Rangpo, Sikkim. He has served as an Assistant Professor in the Finance and Accounting area at Jindal Global Business School, O.P. Jindal Global University, Sonipat, Haryana, for two years. Prior to his doctoral studies, he gained seven years of professional experience with Tata Consultancy Services Ltd., where he held roles including Production Support Associate, IT Analyst, and Operations Lead, serving clients in the Banking and Financial sector. His research primarily explores financial stability, bank competition, liquidity, loan pricing, governance, cryptocurrencies, fintech, green finance and financial network analysis.
