Anannya is an Assistant Professor at IIM Ranchi in the area of Operations Management. She holds a PhD in Quantitative Methods and Operations Management, where her dissertation—Inventory Management under Shortages due to Supply Disruption: An Experimental Study—investigated how heuristics and behavioral biases influence ordering decisions in the face of supply disruptions. Her research spans topics such as inventory management, sustainable supply chains, heuristics in operations, digital engagement, and spatial analytics.
