Dr. Jyoti Verma serves as an Assistant Professor in Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ranchi, India. She has completed her Ph.D. in the area of Human Resource Management from the Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India. Prior to IIM Ranchi, she has served as Assistant Professor in the department of HRM at XISS and area of HR/OB at Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna, Bihar. She has more than 12 years of teaching, research, training and consulting experience. She is also a certified POSH Trainer. She has started her career with Ranbaxy Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and have completed her internship at Institute of Nuclear Medicine & Allied Sciences (INMAS), DRDO, New Delhi. Dr. Verma is having a vast experience in project consulting especially for various departments under Government of Bihar (notably Bihar Prashasnik Sudhar Mission, Bihar Education Project Council, SC ST Welfare) Ministry of Women and Child Development, Bihar in collaboration with UNICEF, Bihar Grid Company Limited (BGCL), and many more. Her research interest is in Performance Management Systems, Organizational Ambidexterity, Knowledge Management, CSR, Sustainable Development, Social Entrepreneurship and Leadership. She has published many papers in journals of national and international repute listed in ABDC and SSCI Index/Scopus and conference proceedings apart from winning best paper awards at reputed institutes such as IIM Calcutta, IISc. Bangalore etc. Dr. Verma has conducted numerous Management and Executive Development Programs for valued organizations, including Dept. of Industries, Govt, of Bihar, Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. (IOCL), Bihar Administrative Services (BAS), Disaster Management Department (DMD), Govt. of Bihar, Bihar Police Services, Bihar Prison Services, Life insurance Corporation of India (LIC), Dept. of Post, Bihar, SJVN a CPSU etc. Dr. Verma has lifetime membership of NHRD Network along with Indian Society for Training and Development (ISTD). She has coordinated, Technion Multi Cultural Team Project (TMCTP), a global team project organised by Institute of Technology, Technion, Israel from more than nine years.
