Kushagra Sharan

Dr. Kushagra Sharan completed his PhD in a record time and was recommended for the Best Overall Academic Performance as well as the Best Coursework performance during his PhD. He has published in high-impact factor and reputed journals in the strategy domain along with an Ivey case study publication. He was selected for the Outstanding New Case Writer category by Ivey for the Case Writer Competition 2024-25. He was the only scholar across all the IIMs to be awarded the Australia India Research (AIRS) Fellowship, funded by the Department of Education, Government of Australia. He visited the University of Wollongong (UoW), Sydney, as an awardee of the AIRS fellowship. He conducted a workshop as well during his fellowship and initiated collaboration initiatives between IIMK and UoW. He was awarded letters of recognition from both UoW and IIMK for his performance.

He received a Karen Legge Bursary to present his work at the FT-50 Conference (The University of Edinburgh, Scotland). He has presented his work at reputed national and international conferences.

He has authored books during his engineering and was selected for Jawahar Lal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) at IIT Bombay, Indian Academy of Sciences (IAS) at IISc Bangalore, and University Grants Commission (UGC) fellowships at BIT Mesra. He was selected for the Young Intern Program, Planning Department, Rajasthan. He is a “Distinguished Alumni” of BIT Mesra and has been invited as Chief Guest and guest speaker at International Conferences, All India Radio and esteemed institutes of India. He has been invited as a guest speaker for the civil servants at the IRITM (Indian Railways Institute of Transportation Management).

He has worked and consulted for early-age start-ups and established organizations, in national-level roles. He was conferred with the Top-100 Global Education Leader Award by the Global Foundation for Education and Leadership (GFEL), in 2019.
