Dr. Pooja Sengupta is an Assistant Professor in the Information Systems and Business Analytics area at the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi, India. She is a researcher with interests in inflated discrete probability distributions, multivariate discrete distributions, generalized linear models, longitudinal data analysis. She has over 7 years of experience in teaching courses in Statistics and analytics such as linear algebra, linear model, regression analysis, statistical computation and Data Analytics using R and Python. Her research work has been published in Decision Support Systems, Journal of Business Research, Electronic Markets, Communications in Statistics-Theory and Methods, Journal of Statistical Theory and Practice, and Journal of Statistical Computation and Simulation. She has presented research papers at different prestigious international and national conferences, the most recent one is the 62nd World Statistics Congress, organized by International Statistical Institute, in Kuala Lumpur. Apart from this she has also presented research paper at International Indian Statistical Association, 2014 conference at Riverside, California and 2014 conference of Virginia Academy of Science Chapter, American Statistical Association.
