Dr. Utkarsh Shivam is an Assistant Professor in Operations Management area at IIM Ranchi. He holds a Ph.D. in Operations Area from IIM Lucknow. He has completed his MBA from the IIM Jammu and has 4 years of industry experience with companies such as Varuna Group and Abbott. His research interests include Optimization model, Transportation, Logistics and Operations Research. His work has been accepted in top international and national conferences, such as the Production and Operations Management (POMS), European operations management association (EurOMA), and Society of Operations Management (SOM). He was also recipient of Best Paper Award at Society of Operations Management 26 th Annual Conference 2023 held at IIM Shillong. His research findings have also been published in reputable journals, such as Technovation (ABDC-A, ABS-3) and Journal of Policy Modeling (ABDC-A, ABS 2).
