Vikas Pathe holds a B.Sc. from Dr. H.S. Gour University, Sagar MP, an M.A. in Mass Communication from Makhan Lal Chaturvedi National University, Bhopal MP and an M.Phil. and Ph.D. from the Central University of Gujarat. His doctoral research focused on Labour Narratives in Postcolonial Hindi Cinema. With eight years of teaching experience, Vikas has contributed to several institutions, including Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat, MIT WPU, Pune, and Symbiosis International University, Pune. He joined the Liberal Arts and Sciences area at IIM Ranchi in July 2025. Additionally, Vikas is the review editor for the international journal National Identities, published by Taylor and Francis. He has presented his work at national and international conferences. He has published research and review articles in various journals, including South Asian Popular Culture, European Journal of Communication, New Media and Society, National Identities, Economic and Political Weekly, and Mainstream Weekly.
