Zübeyde Karadağ Thorpe received her PhD. in Philosophy from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey. And is an adjunct philosophy lecturer at Boğaziçi University, Istanbul. Prior to this she was teaching at the Thapar School of Arts and Sciences, Patiala, India. Her main research areas are Social and Political Philosophy, Philosophy of Law, Ethics. She is particularly interested in Freedom of Speech, Hate Speech and Human Rights.
