About the Project
The absence of standardized guidance for measuring technology or product maturity in 1980s, prompted NASA to develop the Technology Readiness Level (TRL) scale in 1980s. It represents the maturity of a technology, indicating accomplishments and conditions at a specific point in time.
Subjectivity in TRL assessment and inaccurate project duration estimation are the significant challenges for project success. Therefore, this project proposal has the following two objectives. The first objective is to review and propose a methodology for the accurate estimation of the TRL of technology-driven projects. The second objective is to propose an improvement in the project estimation approach by incorporating uncertainties/risks prevalent in projects.

Eligibility: Post Graduate Degree or PhD in Management, Engineering, Life Sciences, or any other field.
Desirable skill sets: Candidates with a background in Project Management, Technology Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering & Management, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Mathematics, and Computing / Data Analytics are encouraged to apply.
Coding skills in Python or other software, as well as knowledge of mathematical modelling, optimization, and data & text analytics, will be desirable.
Age:– Preferably below 35 Years
Job Description: The job will include a literature review, model building in project management, and technology management research domains. Frequent travel across India for data collection will be required. Coding in software such as Python, data, text, thematic analysis, literature review, and report writing.
Duration: This will be a contract position (0 to 3 years based on performance appraisal) during which the candidate will be stationed at IIM Ranchi and New Delhi.
Remuneration: The remuneration will be in the range of Rs. 25000- Rs. 42000 based on the candidates’ profiles.
Selection Process: The selection process will be in two stages. The first stage will be the
shortlisting of the received applications. The second stage will be a personal interview. The mode and date of the interview will be duly communicated to the shortlisted candidates.
