Allen Joshua George is a faculty in the area of Humanities and Social Sciences with a doctorate in Psychology. His doctoral research was on the development and efficacy testing of a mindfulness-based intervention to enhance eudaimonic well-being of individuals with hedonic dysregulation. Allen has publications in the areas of positive psychology, health psychology, and organizational psychology. He has expertise in inter-disciplinary and multi-disciplinary research, particularly with gender studies, and cultural studies. He is also keen about adopting novel methods to answer research questions effectively.

His current areas of research interest include applied positive psychology, positive organizational behaviour, behavioural finance, time affluence, mindfulness-based positive psychology interventions, leisure studies, and meaningful consumption. Allen has also worked extensively on systematic reviews and published several systematic review papers.
