Deepak Kumar Srivastava

Dr. Deepak Kumar Srivastava is the Director of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi.

He has also served as officiating Director of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Ranchi. Earlier, he was Dean (Academics) and Professor of Strategy at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Tiruchirappalli, and a Professor at the Institute of Management, Nirma University, Ahmedabad.

He brings over 24 years of academic experience. He has held visiting teaching and research assignments at many leading universities, notably in the USA, Finland, Mexico, Hungary, and Slovakia.

Dr. Srivastava serves on the Boards of Governors of the Indian Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM), Bengaluru; the Indian Institute of Forest Management (IIFM), Bhopal; the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur; and the Indian Institute of Coal Management (IICM), Ranchi. He has also served on numerous selection committees and other committees related to higher education and NEP implementation.

He co-authored the South Asian adaptation of Global Business with Prof. Mike W. Peng and has published extensively in leading journals. Additionally, he has undertaken consulting assignments with leading organizations in the areas of strategy, policy, and institutional development. Dr. Srivastava regularly conducts training programs for senior executives, faculty, Vice Chancellors, and Board members. He has traveled widely around the world as an invited speaker, teacher, and researcher.
