Prof. Prasenjit Chakrabarti is a faculty member in the Finance and Accounting area at the Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. He holds a doctoral degree in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management Indore and has served as a Visiting Research Scholar at Deakin Business School, Australia. Prior to joining academia, he accumulated seven years of industry experience with the PwC consulting practice and IBM.

Prof. Chakrabarti has published in several refereed international journals. His primary research interests lie in financial institutions, regulatory frameworks, and policy-induced distortions. He frequently contributes his views on contemporary financial issues to leading financial dailies and national newspapers. He holds a B.Tech. and a B.Sc. (Physics) from Jadavpur University.
