Dr. Rajeev Verma is a faculty member of Marketing at IIM Ranchi. His more than 15 years of experience span industry, academia, startup mentoring, consulting, and institution-building. He has completed his FPM from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore and Post-Graduation in Forest Economics and Management from the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun. He has been a doctoral research fellow at EGADE Business School, Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM), Mexico City. He has also served as a CSIR Fellow at the National Innovation Foundation, India. Dr. Verma has vast experience in project consulting, notably for NITI Aayog, Government of India, Indian Railways, UNICEF, ITTO Japan, and for the various departments under the Government of Bihar (notably Industry, Excise, Education, SC ST Welfare, Environment and Forest, Land Acquisition). He has also served as Program Director for the consultancy projects offered for Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (ABFRL) – Pantaloons (IFSM) and ElasticRun Fulfilment Network. He has successfully completed a startup policy advocacy project at Manchester Metropolitan University, UK, for the Government of Bihar and led a project for the UNICEF-WASH program.
