Dr. Shibashish Chakraborty is presently serving as an Associate Professor in the Marketing area of Indian Institute of Management Ranchi. He had obtained his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata, M.Sc. in Mathematics from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay and MBA from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management, Poona, under University of Poona. He has worked for reputed companies like Godrej GE Appliances Ltd as a Business Manager responsible for Sales & Marketing and other business activities. He also worked as a Teacher & Management Consultant in Singapore. He has published Research papers in reputed journals like California Management Review, Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Marketing Intelligence and Planning, The International Journal of Logistics Management, International Journal of Retail and Distribution Management, International Journal of Bank Marketing, IIMB Management Review. He has conducted several Management Development Programs for working executives of public and private sector organizations in India, both as a resource person and as a coordinator..
